Well, 496 miles and I'm here at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta Ky. Yes, Atlanta to here. Nice drive no problems. Brakes worked great although I hardly used them. Up I75-I71 exit 49 and here.

My tranny pan leak turned out to be a leaking pipe on the power steering return.

Anybody coming to the race?

Dan?

Where are you camped out? I could come up from Louisville for a brief visit.
Since my taxes helped pay for the improvements around that exit I'm not
allowed to attend the race. That's for out-of-state guys to bring their
money and leave behind. It's called "economic impact". Thanks for
contributing.

Now, about that write up you were going to do on the new brake reaction arm
installation ---

So, you didn't use brakes rolling down to Jellico? You must still be using
the anchor.

Actually it's exit 57 off I-71. I'm in Ponderrosa 132. Ya'll come visit. I've got plenty of adult beverages.

I did the write-up and thought Tom P, Dixielander newsletter editor was going to share. Tom?

Yes there were some hills but really didn't go screaming down or up.

Now my Onan is really starting to irritate me but that's another email.

I will be coming down for the Nationwide race on Friday. My friend is in town and we could not get 2 seats together for the Cup race so we are doing the drive down Friday early see some practice and qualifying and the Nationwide race and back to Indy after the race. He has schedule conflicts so we won't be doing the campground with the coach, just the old Buick. We have tickets in the OHIO GRANDSTAND for friday nite. Maybe next year will we will do all 3 races (if they have them) with the GMC. 3 races and camping will be a chunk of money must start the coffee can fund when we get back saturday. If you want to call Friday after noon try 317 and 590 and 3200 and maybe we can meet up. If not enjoy the races it is a beautful track.

Have a good time George. I wish I was coming but will be here watching on tv. I visited Ky. Speedway a couple of years ago. Nice track. First year for the Cup race over there.
