After reading Bob Drewes post about Gates Barricade fuel hose I got some to put on a truck and later on the GMC. It looks and has the same flexibility as the 30R7 we always used to use. If it didn't say Barricade on it you wouldn't know it was any different. O'Reillys has it for $1.99 a foot in 3/8 ID. If it holds up to the new fuels like Gates claims there is a cure for fuel hoses short life. Thanks Bob!

I talked at length with the service mgr at a local dealer and he said
the alcohol is still doing it's thing with the fuel hoses on new
cars. He talked about a fuel line that is teflon lined on the inside
but didn't know the name. Said it supposedly held up to alcohol
poisoning.

Netters.
I have been running Teflon out board lines/hoses USCG approver from the fuel
pump up to the S S covered hoses.
All was well until the rubber in the S S covered hoses broke down now I'm
also running Teflon S S covered hoses over the top of the engine using the T
B I adapter fitting from Russell/Edelbrock.
The S S covered hose is used for power steering and other hydraulic
application.
Works for me.
