I don't know. I doubt that Oklahoma City would be to your liking.

Currently it's 103 here and no breeze!

So you can have 90 deg in the shade and 90% humidity!

Just like growing up in Chicagoland. I must be nuts (except the winters here are miserable)

Oh yea, I would be getting out of those mountains before winter. I am not sure Ohio is much better though. Arizona seems to have the best of both worlds. High elevations for summer and the Mexican Border for winters. Think that is how Jade does it.

Bill, the question is not "why do you want to move to SW Ohio", it's "why do you want to move to Ohio". Smile

Well, I suppose Georgia in the summertime WOULD be the next stop
after Purgatory.
Sure is pleasant here in SE Ohio.

Dan,

Snow in FEET in Steamboat ( November to late April) & below zero more often than not. Cannot be that bad in SW Ohio. (Although none of those nasty ice storms in Stmbt)

Yup and guess whose a/c went on the blink yesterday. Only happens on
holiday weekends when no one is around to do repairs. Hampton Inn is
looking better and better for the wife. Me, I just crank up the a/c
in the GMC and freeze. <G>

Bill,

We live in rifle shot of Toledo. (A slight exaggeration.)

The thing I always find amazing is that this area has "Magic Snow".
The first few flakes fall and half of all the drivers on roads brains just - disappear!
We do get snow every winter and, like the continually rising unemployment in the area, it seems to always be a surprise.
The city and county are never ready.
But, strangely, the tow operators and body shops always are able to anticipate.

Michigan's upper peninsula gets as much snow as Steamboat, but I'm told they don't even use it until it is a year old.

Roger you sure talk big. I wish I was over that way and could show Donna that post. We would see how well you enjoy the "dog house". Very Happy
Raining like crazy here and temp is down to 70. We have the a/c off and the doors open.
But, I must say that the SW is really a great place in the winter. If one misses the snow just climb one of the many mountains for a snowball fight.
Happy 4th to everyone.
