The late Benny Lawson's wife Shirley is trying to prepare their coach for
sale and the 4kV Onan needs a circuit board.
Can someone pls give her some direction? He son, Ron is helping her get the
coach prepped for sale.
Hello David , Our son Ronnie is here from Ohio trying to help me with minor
repares so I can try to sell the GMC and while working on the Generator he
found the Circuit Board is broken and he called a couple Onan dealers and
they have nothing listed , Can you help me ?
The Model is
# 4.0 BF - IR/ 9000C
Serial # F 763178089
Or do you know someone that can rebuild one ?
Thank you Shirley Lawson , Bennys wife

Someone needs to define what "broken" means. Most "broken" boards are repairable. I just fixed 2 problems on mine. If they want to send the old one over here I'll take a look at repairing it. I do not think original Onan boards are available.
Aftermarket ones are available from dinosaur electronics:

I did not check Jim K., Jim B., or Alex Sirum. So I just looked at Jim K's web site and he has it. As usual he also beat any other non-GMC site I could find on line. I know Jim K. tries to stock just about everything a GMC needs.

I would try to fix the old one first unless you are in a big rush to get it going.

Original onan boards are available...at a price. I bought one last fall from cummins/onan and it was around $300 after begging for a wholesale price. Jeff at alex sirum gmc said that he has sold over 100 of his aftermarket boards and never had one come back. I went with the original board after reading Duanes instruction and trouble shooting guide
