I don't recommend the use of a motorhome for parts coaches, there should be enough transmodes around to use instead.

At any rate, here is a GMC that could probably be put back in service if anyone is interested:

G'day,

Who ever buys it better not pick it up on a rainy day - no windshield
wipers!

Or bring Rainex.

I don't follow the reasoning. Most Transmodes have been upfitted from the
factory (not GM) as motorhomes. Those Transmodes, once serving in commercial
applications, ambulances, crime scene detection units, mobile labs, radio/TV
vans, blood mobiles, rolling libraries, test platforms (ala Michelin tires)
and so forth have, over the years, been converted to motorhomes. So why is a
Transmode recommended ? Just curious.

In most cases a coach becomes a parts donor because it is beyond ever
achieving road-worthy status. Dave

It has changes to the interior. Some look interesting. If it wasn't a 1973, I would be thinking it was a upfitted transmode.

I can not tell if the it has Aluminum wheels or just hub caps... At this price, I would expect hubcaps on 16.5 inch wheels. (And old tires.)

It might be worth the asking price for the hubcaps and window latches... Laughing

Looks like 16.5's with caps.

There are coaches like this coming out of the woodwork right now.  Anyone
looking at a machine such as this needs to understand there is nothing worth
relying upon in that machine.  A blown head gasket means the motor needs to come
out, there are few people who win pulling heads without doing something to the
bottom end.  That does not scratch the surface -- brakes, suspension, fuel
delivery, radiator, trans, motor, air suspension and now lets start talking
about the interior and exterior.  I tell ya, a core should be called a cob!  I
crenge when I see one of these, it will cost more than anyone ever imagined to
bring the needed systems to a reliable state-- just massive work!

Hey, Transmodes are motorhomes too!  This coach would best be suited as a donor,

Jim Bounds
