We are going camping where there is no electrical supply. I can turn the generator on in my 1976 GMC motorhome, it is a 5000 watt unit, but it does not power anything up (we were really hoping for some air!). What am I doing incorrectly?

In the power cord compartment look for a large outlet which looks like an electric range connection. Plug your power cord into it, and you should probably have power.
