For any of you AVION owners out there. Considering replacing your Dometic RM66 frig with the recommended replacement, RM2510. The new frig, listed by Dometic as an exact replacement, is not exactly the same in size. It is taller (by 1") and deeper (by 1.5") and slightly slimmer (not a problem) and the AVION refrig spot must be heavily modified for the frig to fit. AGGGGH! Charlie Brown. Major hassle for a direct replacement.

Tom Phipps,
75 GMC Avion, with no frig and no hot water.

Tom,

I assume you are going to modify the opening for the fridge. Furthermore I
assume that the RM2150 is a single door fridge.

One of the PO's of Double Trouble installed a double door (separate freezer)
Dometic by lowering the bottom of the cabinet, raising the top, and
extending it into the aisle way. Unfortunately when he extended into the
aisle he went about 1/2" too far as the fridge door hits the area that the
bathroom door mounts. Be careful that you don't do that!
