I sent this message to Marsha off net on Sunday the 26th.
I haven't heard anything back from her as of this morning, Tues.
I want to make the trip to Ajo real early tomorrow as it's going to be over 100 F.
I want to get the exhaust system packaged up for shipment.
I need to know who and where to ship it to.
Does anyone have that info?
If you read the 2nd part of the message, I think that will work out better for you guys that are going to install it.

Marsha;
Yes, it is off of a 455.
I ran it down the right side of my coach under the frame right below where the original exhaust system was and never had a clearance problem, so it should install on your coach without any trouble.
I will need the name and address where to ship it to and what date you would like it to arrive.
If the shipping cost is within my budget, I will pay the shipping if that will help with the project.
I will let you know what that cost is.
Just to let you know, I will have to go to my shop in Ajo (300 miles) to get it ready for shipping as we are in our Summer residence in Pinetop, AZ. right now.
That's not a problem with me, but I won't be able to leave for Ajo until Wednesday the 29th.
I should be able to have it ready to ship by Thursday the 30th.
Will that fit your schedule?
Get back to me as soon as you can.
Jim Decheine

Marsha;
Just came up with another solution.
I have a 26' Painted Desert with a 455 in it that I'm restoring with a perfectly good exhaust system from the exhaust pipes back.
I'm going to put headers and a 3" exhaust system on it so I won't have any use for that exhaust system.
I will check to make sure that everything is sound before I ship it.
That way you won't have to do any modifications to get it on your coach.
I could take that system off and ship it to you if you want.
Let me know if that will work.
Jim Decheine
Call me if you want to.

I want to thank you for the offer for the exhaust. Just to confirm it came off a 455 correct? Let me know how much it is to ship and I will send you the money ASAP.

Marsha

P.M. Me with your willingness to help on this project. Planned work party is week-end of July 9, subject to exhaust system arrival. CC Dave and Marsha.

The great coach rescue is being put off until July 23rd. Hope some of you can commit a day to help. Items to be done include; replace /repair exhaust system, replace/repair gas feed lines, and the brakes. Ambitious, I know, but that is the minimum that needs to be done, before the coach can be driven to Marsha's.

Tom Phipps, I'm not in charge
