I have recently stumbled on a bargain tire buy.
A local volunteer ambulance corp [Or as Obami would say- 'korp']
has recently taken delivery of a brand spanking new ambulance.
Disappointedly, for them, it came equipped with 6 Uniroyal Laredo HD
series, soft riding tires.
They want knobbies! Go figure.
Guess they want to shake up their clients.
SO there are 6 take off tires that are available.
I have the inside track on them but unfortunately for me, both my coaches
have new shoes.
And one has Uniroyal Laredo besides!. They are great. Smooth and soft
riding.
Anyways this set of 6 tires can be had cheap right now.
And I mean right now, as in TODAY.
They are LT225-75-16" black HD with perhaps 200 miles on them.
They only have factory delivery miles on them.
Lil rubber tits are still on them.
Anyone interested in the set of 6 can contact me today by private mail at:

Put TIRES in the Subject line.
It will only take $650 cash. This is a distinct bargain for someone.
They are usually around $160 each plus, plus.
No tax, no tip, no hokie 'installation and maintenance's contract, no sales
pitch, no buy 3 get one.blah blah .
Just 6 like-new, excellent tires for $650 cash or equalivalent [I can accept
Paypay if done right].
I can hold them for you til you come to pick up.

George,
It should be noted that "6 ply" corresponds to LRC, not adequate for any GMC MH.
They should have the Load Range on the sidewalls. If not, from the
Maximum Pressure on the sidewalls, we can determine the Load Range.

Hey Ken,
Tires are conspicuously marked Load Range E on side wall; and also 'HD' too
which is Heavy Duty.
A huge bargain but at a tough economic time for many.
