We have been watching the smoke from a fire north of Santa Fe that has been burning for over a week. It has now doubled in size and is spreading east toward the ski area mountains.
BUT, I just went out to the car and now see another hugh column of smoke coming from the northwest mountains. That smoke was not there this morning. It looks to be twice as large as the smoke north of town. It looks like it is to the south of Los Alamos and it looks bigger than the fire that destroyed many homes in Los Alamos a few years back.
