We started seeing a large plume of smoke in the mountains north of Santa Fe yesterday. Helicoptors have been flying over my house all day today with large water buckets suspended beneath them. All I can find out it that it has burned about 10,000 acres. No word on % of control or if there is any damage to homes.

Emery, someone put a link on here last week that showed the fires in NM. Maybe they will post again. I looked at it and there was a fire near Raton Pass then.
Hurry up and get moved so you do not miss another convention.
Oh, how is the knee?

Not good. The big fire in the Chiracuas is on it's 7th week now and no
containment. Also not good.
