coach is 75 wet bath,
my repair manual is 75 and 76
my op manual is 77
both manuals on different than mine reference to my water fill back in lp gas hatch area, but either way
i know there is a little waste in black tank, plan was to run water hose to city water inlet and flush tank out, first time i have put water to coach. kitchen faucet leaks a little when operated, is it easier and cheeper to replace faucet, or rebuild?
bath faucet not as bad, but it also seeped water when handle turned on, so same question.
toilet did flush and i would gues i added maybe 2 to 3 gallons of water, but when i opened rear waste gate nothing, i know knows is slightly lower than rear, maybe that was cause?
also, pasenger sidenear rear wheel s water leaked on payment and in coach as facing frige, right side of fridge where it met corner of bath wall carpet got wet, not sure if it was from water line or waste, i thought water lines were below floor,
coach was built aug 74 if i understand tag,
all input is appreciated, thanks bgk

Kitchen faucet is probably a Moen, and they are a good unit and can be repaired with a new cartridge, but it is 37 years old, so if you want a new one you have my permission...grin. The bath faucet is another matter, may not be all that easy to repair. The Jim's have them from what I understand.

The leak near the wheel well might be just the hot water heater drain valve either open or leaking. It is in the center of the bottom of the hot water heater, which is easiest to access by taking out the sliding door unit under the sink. Not just the doors, but the entire unit so you can see how things are under there. Of course, there is a possibility the tank itself is leaking.

Those are a few things to get you started. BTW I believe you will find your pipes to the sink go up and over the top, under the headliner, not under the floor. I am assuming in my answers above that it is a GMC built coach, not a transmode upfitted by some other company. If that is true, all bets are off.

it is an eleganza ll.
i did see that atleast by diagram water lines more match the 74 model manual which i just found and downloaded.
too dark to work on it now,
water heater drain, ? if that is an open drain, assuming all plumbing is original, would it have a hose attached to drain outside of coach? or just under bath which then with front end slightly lower allows water to flow forward? wet spot inside does seem above drip outside,
pipes up and over, not what i would have expected, all i know is i am glad wife did not see, i knew it had to leak somewhere, just had to. thanks bgk

If you would let us know where you live, someone might be able to drop by
and eye-ball the situation.

i think i see what issue i have, i did not hook water up to see leak first hand but
my water lines are plactic not copper, so i assume that is good
my cold side coming into water heater went into a tee, top of tee went into water heater, out side of tee went into another tee, top of it went to sink, out of it went up i guess overhead to kitchen.
this whole tee set up was still wet close to 24 hours past water being taken away and toilet flushed til no pressure, so i starting taking it apart,
on the end of one of the plastic hoses there is a cone shaped i guess crush type plastic furrell. this little furrell, on one side looks like it got hot enough to partically melt. i can see whay then it would not hold pressure, i looked again, this is on cold cide of water heater not hot side. nothing below it but i guess top of wheel well. ?? i wish i knew how it got this deformed? any ideas? otherwise i cut it off with approc one inch of the pipe so to take to plumbing store tomorrow.
is there a better way than this double tee set up?
thanks bgk

The plastic pipe is called Quest pipe. Connectors are getting harder to find for this pipe, although, I think RV suppliers still carry some. If you are not replacing the pipe (and no reason to replace) I have had good luck using Shark fittings (there are other brands sold, also) available at Home Depot or Lowes. They are a little pricey but you don't need many. Just push in the pipe and it clicks into place and you have a leak free connection. Furthermore, you can join the quest with other types of pipe such as copper or Pex. Saves a lot of hassles.

For what it's worth I am going to be replacing all my pressure side plumbing with PEX. I used it in the last house I built and also in the house we are in now. I love the stuff, it is plastic and super easy to work with, and can handle being frozen without splitting. Only downside is it takes special crimpers, about a $100 investment per size. I seem to recall class action lawsuits with the polybutylene piping years ago.
