That calendar post reminded me, I still need to find a sponsoring club for the Fleet Week cruise-in to Treasure Island. The city is willing to put us pretty much where they did last year, but I need access to the FMCA insurance policy for the permit. That means that I need one of the three clubs I'm a member of to "sponsor" it. There's no cost involved, just an official designation.
I'm a member of the GMC 49ers but can't seem to get an answer from them. I also belong to GMCWS and GMCMI. Can anyone suggest who I should contact at those clubs to get support? I need to get that permit filed.
