Hi,
Looking for the best suggestion for a good yet affordable cover for the
entire coach.

Also looking for the cover that just covers the front cockpit glass area.

The first for longevity/integrity.
The second to keep heat out, fading down and privacy.....

Thanks in advance.

Eden...I bought an adco cover from Camping World. Two important things to note,...First, buy the cover intended for a TRAILER as it is the best fit,...second, if you have a 26' coach, be sure to buy the maximum lenth of (24'). The reason for this is that we have coaches that are rounded on top, as well as the sides. The "square" design of the covers intended for "trailers" will drape too much if you get a "26'" length. It all sounds a little weird, but it works, and "yes", I have experimented. While the fit is not perfect, I doubt that you will be disappointed. The alternitive is a custom made for ALL the money.

Agreed. I bought for a Class C of 26 feet. Too much cover. BTW, I have it
for cheap. You pay the shipping and it'll get there by way of UPS. It comes
in a big but not heavy box. Inside is a bag that holds the cover.

I have someone coming to look at the GMC this weekend. If you don't take it,
I'm giving it to the future owner who is from the Atlanta area (where it's
dry and hot right now).

Eden,
Many years ago I had a fitted cover I believe was made of Tyvek. Lasted 2 years of winter use, not at all satisfactory in my opinion.

Have had one of the steel frame covered with tarp and end zipper enclosures for some time and am very happy with it. Used treated 4x4s as the base to raise the opening high enough to clear the AC & pod.

I can't stress strongly enough to all, whatever type of enclosure you choose don't forget a vapor barrier on the ground. Its an infinite source of moisture & forms a great corrossion cell without that barrier.

Ray...I'm sorry that I dont...I did try to look up the one I bought, but there web sight is more confusing that it is helpful.
If you look for a 24' tryvek (sp) for a travel trailer, you will likley have the one you want. If you should talk with someone at camping World, you have made a mistake as they have NO klue as to what a classic GMC coach is. Should you tell them that you have a class "A" that is 26' long, they will insist that you buy a "class A that is longer than our 26' bumper to bumper". The result is a cover that is WAY TO BIG.
The cover is going to drape to the ground, but I did'nt say that this thing was perfect...just a lot cheeper than a custom made.
