Last year, there was discussion of trying to put together a
GMC Motorhome calendar. I don't think it ever got anywhere.
If there is still interest, I have found a reasonably easy
and inexpensive way to do the.

If foiks still want this, I need 15-20 "beauty" shots (3 or
4 for each season would be cool!). They should be reasonably
high resolution (2-3 mega-pixel).

Once I have enough shots, I will set up an editorial review
board of several members of the net to look at the product
before making it available to order.

I will be doing this through Zazzle.com, so there is no
upfront cost. At least 50% of the (very small) markup will
be contributed to the support of the photo site.

If you would like to have your photo on the calendar, please
send it to webmaster at dldesignstore.com (substitute @ for
the spaces and "at" in the address.

If no one is interested any longer, so be it.

Terry

What resolution are you looking for. There should be a minimum for good
quality output.

Probably at least 1024x786. The pictures will most likely be
printing 8.5x11.

My favorites are not my own.

Bon Fire - the right front corner of a coach illumanted by virelight. It's my wallpaper on the PC at work.
<http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=20373&title=nice-reflection-off-the-bon-fire&cat=4732>

Then there is the beautifully restored '77 or '78 Palm Beach. I believe this was repainted by aircraft painters. I have a print of this on my wall!
<http://www.gmcers.org/bru.htm>

How about some pics from Desmond's Treasure Island mini-rally during Fleet Week
<http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=36383&title=6-blue-angels-and-gmcs-2c-treasure-island-fleet-week-2010&cat=12>
or
<http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=36381&title=2010-fleet-week-in-sf-with-gmcs&cat=12>

Now if we could only get a rally inside Hangar One at Moffett Field we could drape them all in curtains and unveil them just like Stripes!

I'll bet Dave Silva has some autopsy pictures from the organ donor coach he dismembered! There might even be a flat-nosed Revcon in the picture (with blood dripping from its fangs!)

Okay - I'm just kidding. But the image would be great for Halloween.

I have higher res versions of the two fleet week pics Larry mentions.
Personally, I like this fleet week one though it lacks the blue angels:
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=36396

For October, I vote for Desmond's (I think?) GMC pumpkin, though I'm having
trouble finding the picture. Or at least a "Bittersweet" Orange GMC.

Terry,

If you do consider old/abondoned GMC's for a spot on the calendar -- John Harper (now deceased) had the vision for a calendar of derelict coachs and had an album on the photo site...

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=4694

If you use one of his images we could fund a copy of the calendar for his wife.

Larry,

I like your sense of taste. However, if an owner isn't submitting a photo it
is best to get the owner's permission.

Bob D. has some nice photos, doesn't he. I like the one taken in front of
the mountain.

Good suggestions you've mentioned and they are of high enough resolution, I
believe.
