I wish these folks made macerators (GMC Content) because their customer service is over the top.

Long ago - maybe 15 years or more ago - I bought a garbage disposer to replace the one that came with the house. OSH, my local hardware store, had a Bone Crusher with a lifetime warranty.

About 7 years later it failed. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent out another even without the receipt. Last week my wife tried to dispose of a knife - another broken disposer. I sent an e-mail to them (Anaheim Manufacturing - Waste King) and they sent out another after only 2 e-mails.

I believe they are an American company with GREAT customer service. It's almost like working with a can of tomatoes!!!

I almost never post off-topic stuff, but I had to share this. If you are looking for a disposer and you have a choice between Waste King and Insinkerator - my choice would be for Waste King.

(Even though my neighbor has an Insinkerator 777 that had me envious!)
