Every time I drive and it is 95 out side My oil pressure drops to 38 pounds. At start up it runs about 60 pounds. The water temperature goes up to about 200 then drops down to 185 when the fan kicks in. When my oil pressure drop to 38 I stopped and checked the oil level it was fine. I found the bottom water hose was leaking so I tightened it and it stopped. I guess I was lucky I stopped. If I had not just changed one of the heads I probably would not have stopped since the oil pressure did the same thing last summer when going to FL.
If I add an oil cooler should I put it in series with the one that is in the radiator. Which one first?
