Dennis,
I am currently working on #2, the rear bath Birchaven. (23 foot)
Thanks for the pictures... I like the placement of your switch. But I think the later model generator compartments are a little "tighter" than the earlier, wooden, ones. So... no room for a switch there. I picked up a 70's GM car flip down license plate holder at the Pick-n-Pull so the switch will most likely end up under the plate.
I am wanting to be able to quickly pull a short (6 to 8 feet) hose (3/4 inch) for a quick dump, with the ability to go 10 to 12 feet more (16 to 20' total) without connecting extensions.
The problem is I have a rear bath Birchaven. (Granted the side bath Birch isn't much better... I get to do it 'next.') The area where your maceator is located is where my black tank is. The output is under the rearmost frame cross-member. Beside the black tank is the pipe from the gray tank. (Located where your black tank is, just smaller.) It is very tight back there. I had to put the maceator in the "Y" of the frame, almost under the Onan. (Right where the exhaust pipe is on the other side.)
I have some gray plastic conduit pipe, like yours. I have several long straight pieces and few 45 & 90 degree bends. (I can find uses for the left overs.) I am thinking two straights across the back, one above the frame and one below. (To hold my 10 to 12 foot.) Then wind some 45's, short straights and a 90 or two, around the current plumbing to hold my 'quick' 6 to 8 feet.
If I can do it and have it look OK... I'll keep it. If it looks to 'trashy,' I'll have to live with a 6 to 8 foot quick hose and have removable extensions. I can bolt some 3 inch plastic pipe under one of the rockers to hold sections of hose. (I am not sure of any "hollow rocker" that is large enough to hold 3/4 inch hose.) My 3 inch "slinky hose" is going under the "propane" compartment outside the frame rail. (The spot opposite the Onan. Not that it is a "propane compartment on either of my Birches!)
I am slow in my projects... it'll be a week or two before I get done.
