Be careful with where the electric fuel pump is mounted. Most are designed to be as close to the fuel tank as possible. Also, most recommend a pressure regulator near the carb. The pressure rating of most pumps isn't all that accurate & can put more pressure than the needle valve can handle. I'm beginning to think that is part of the problem I'm having. I'm beginning to think the mechanical pump is better because it's pressure & flow varies with engine RPM. Since I have one now, I'll mount it at the outlet of the selector solenoid as I'm replacing the lines. I think rodents may have gotten to them because I'm not getting gas to both the engine or the genset. I'll be running it on a boat tank to move it to a place where I can get under it. That will also verify that bad gas is an issue if the coach's problems go away on the boat tank with clean fresh gas. Way down at the bottom of my wish list is to convert to a dual fill option so I can fill the tanks
separately instead of having them transfer fuel between them.
I plan on just replacing the supply lines to the engine to start with. I'll redo the vents when the tanks are dropped.
