AS someone who recently put a used Birch on my coach, with significant help from Rob Burkitt, I will gladly attest to the huge difference it makes in getting airflow through the coach.
I'm also willing to attest to the enormous pain in the rear it is to get well fitted to the coach...
Thanks,

I put our Birch door on our coach last year and to be honest, I was expecting it
to be a nightmare.
I installed the hinges, then did some reshaping of the door to make sure it
matched the curvature of the coach. I then pop riveted the door to the hinges,
it fit perfect....until I opened it.....the top popped out 2" and it was all out
of alignment.....it opened and closed like crap!
I messed with it for about 2 hours and then got peeved and got out some clamps
and a big hammer and "adjusted" the shape of the hinges. After about 15 minutes
of persuading it, I thought, this things is either going to work or I'm going to
wreck it trying, after I got done, it opened and closed PERFECT !
Make sure the curvature is correct, then it's all in hinge adjustment in my
opinion ! The key is don't be afraid of it.

I'm with you Ray. I spent a long time with the hinges. I used a masonry chisel and a BFH (Big Freakin Hammer) to get them to go my way. It is great once it's on.
