Well now I know why paint jobs cost so much money. There is an awful lot of labor to make these coaches look good again. After many years of restoring all the mechanical issues it was time for some paint. All this painting stuff was new to me but after lots of internet research and about a grand worth of supplies I shot it in the driveway. I thought it would be one of those 10,20 jobs as I had never sprayed acrylic urethane before. By the third coat I began to feel good about what it was looking like. Other than some dirt fights with the wind it looks good close up. People stare at it now as I drive down the street and it makes me feel good and proud of my 76 eleganza. Here are a few pics.
