I don't know if this is a good deal or not, but I see it listed on www.1saleaday.com. It's $129 + $5 shipping.

There are some reasons it is so cheap. But if you want cheap and don't care, it is probably ok. It is a no name brand and it is probably made in China. The TV is not the highest 1080 resolution and the DVD player is obsolete. Not Blue Ray capability. Generally, I do no buy a multi component unit all in one because if part of it goes bad, the other part is next to useless. You cannot play Blue Ray discs in a non Blue Ray player but can go the other way. Unfortunately in this case, you are getting what you would pay for. I would upgrade but if you want to go cheap, go for it.

This is perfect if your looking for something to watch and at that
price if the DVD player doesnt work who cares. (GRIN) chances are you
have a portable DVD player sitting in the basement collecting dust. If
I had to choose between this and nothing at all, id rather have this.
(OPINION ONLY NOT AN ATTACK ON ANYONE)

I'd get it, but I think I need to get the GMC first. lol

The screen is so small that the higher resolution isn't really needed. For an "underway" unit, the small size, being "all-in-one" and running on 12 volts without an inverter are all "plus" in my book. It is small enough to mount on the back of the Honda seats I just installed. The brand new, larger, all-in-one I have will not fit on the seats. I'll mount it somewhere else as a "parked" video unit and see how this smaller unit pans out. I just ordered one.

On Blue-Ray: With my eyes and lack of any large TV's I have a hard time justifying the added premium for Blue-Ray. Maybe some day, when cost isn't the factor it is now.

Also you can pick up standard used DVD's at garage sales and swap meets for a couple of bucks each.
