I stopped by a local Pick-N-Pull for a few parts. I asked about the semi-annual half off sale. I was told it was next week-end.

It is a good time to find steering wheels, wiper arms and lots of other things. Even if YOU do not need them, you can pick up TRADING STOCK at a good price.

I get off on Saturday morning, so I should be able to hit at least 2 or 3 of the yards near here.

I picked up another "single spoked" steering wheel and noticed some interesting Firebird Trans-Am wheels that should work as well but look a bit better.

I get so jealous of you west coast and SW guys and your men's malls. Here we just have recent rusty junk and ya gotta be quick to get at any old stuff before it goes to the crusher.

Anything you want me to look for? I can toss it in the back of the Kick for when you pick it up. I might only be able to "do" a single day this time.

Mike,

I'll take a Chevy 1 ton front end (don't forget the bearings,
control arms, etc) and that fancy rear end brake set-up
everyone is talking about.

Go ahead and get doubles of each; one for my brothers GMC.

Happy hunting!

I have been told (sometime in my past...) that "If you can not say something nice, do not say anything at all."

Twisted Evil

I figured anything I found it a junkyard would require so much modification and work to make it worth taking it off... even at half price.

I think I'll just pick up tail lights, steering wheels, wiper arms and like items... I do not need much of them, but they make good trading stock.
