G'day,

There was a thread discussing a replacement bathroom faucet with a diverter
for the shower a week or so ago but since Avion's have dry baths I didn't
pay much attention or respond.

I was in Camping World the other day when I spotted this:

http://tinyurl.com/3c2ukzy

http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/chrome-finish-lavatory-faucet-with
-diverter/49824

Will this work for GMC's?

Regards,
Rob M.

Rob, it would but the shower hose would have to be rerouted and would be visible and connected to the faucet directly at the sink--I don't think most GMC'rs would like the looks of it.

It would work if you unscrew the diverter from the top and plug that off and drill a hole in the bottom side and tap it for the diverter spout.

Or, you can buy the right type faucet from Jim K.

It looks like what is in a Coachmen model. At least, it would for the tub of
a Royale rear bath.

Rob,
The one we need is with the diverter outlet at the bottom.
I have been in contact with the factory and have a strong feeling we
will need to place an order for 500 ea. else they do not want to make
a run.

Here is what I am using and am very happy with.

Single lever for shower, great temp control. Shower head, Navy button flow control, head provides a fine water spray.

Swinging Faucet with extending flex end.

Jim,

The reason I sent the one from Camping World in was because I had seen your
note about having to order TWO LIFE TIME SUPPLIES of the bloody things! ;-)

I believe some have simply installed separate valves for the shower, like this $15 unit on Amazon <http://www.amazon.com/United-States-Exposed-Plumbing-Supplies/dp/B000BKEC6M>

That way you can do whatever you like with the sink.
