| Hubler one ton front end, first trip experience [message #125063] |

Yesterday Paula and I went for a trip upto Lake Huron, first trip longer than 3 miles at a time.
Wow! am I impressed! I can finally relax and drive with one hand, even Paula noticed how much better it handled from the passenger seat and how much calmer I was at the wheel. we never used to talk much while driving as it took alot of concentration.
My existing front end was not worn out, the only thing I had not replaced on the front end was the bearings and they had about 15K on them now.
I even let it run off the pavement onto the gravel and had not issue pulling back onto the pavement, (I have stock rear suspension).
The brakes have improved tremendously as well with the bigger rotors up front.
The Murray is finally a pleasure to drive, I'll never go back. Paula and I were able to chat and enjoy the ride.
One thing that always concerned me was the front bearings, I was always worried they would give out while on a trip. I had no confidence in them. With the one ton that worry is gone. If one does go at some point, they are readily available, bolt-on replacements.
Just my experience.

Amen brother. I had the same thing, everything had been replaced in our's too. Just getting rid of the bearing tool was a relief to me. Knowing that Teri and I can replace a bearing bought at a local parts store was worth all the money we spent. The better handling was just a bonus, when a truck blows by us.
I have met Mr. Hubler a couple of times. Ain't he a real thinker? We are fortunate to have guys among our group that can come up with this stuff so our coaches can continue rolling down the hiways for another 20-30 years.
Just wait til you get Chuck's reaction arm braking installed.

Wait'll you hang a quad bag setup on your coach. You'll be able to get up,
go get a beverage and return to your seat and the coach will still be going
straight:>)

LOL Steve,,,,that was good. Remember to carry a good 6 point 15mm socket for the bolts that hold on the bearing. and a 10mm for the dust shield,,,,,,,,PL
