Just went out and measured: 2.5". My guess at this point is that both
coaches had work done to their black tanks, both installers used the same kit,
and neither one bothered to shorten the tube. Heck, could have
been the same shop worked on both coaches. Aren't I lucky! :-)
> KB, do you know how far from bottom of tank the pipe is? Mine looks close also but I do not have any problems with it as long as I have water in the tank. I would measure the distance from the bottom of tank before ripping it out. Might not be as close to the bottom as it looks. The black tank is not very "thick" anyway.
