New hot bed of activity, that makes 2 coaches in Congress and 3 in nearby Cottonwood for sale or sold in the last month. Randy maybe you ought to throw yours in there too. Geting hot in AZ, but prime time in the rest of the country.

I think the market for GMC's is back. Folks go crazy with bidding on eBay, fighting against each other to buy a coach sight unseen.

Guilty as charged. And I almost bid on that one in Birmingham. 'Tis the season...

Not surprising that it went higher than the craigslist price though. Probably worth it, too.

That reminds me..

I've seen comments that GMC ads on Craigslist sometimes get flagged and removed. The speculation was that potential buyers are flagging to get the ads taken down so they can eliminate some competition..

That seems awfully anti-social to me, but I have seen a strangely high percentage of Craiglist GMC ads that were "flagged for removal". Old motorhomes don't seem like a likely scam product, so I don't know what to think.

Anyone else?

Andrew,

Yes, several GMC's have been used in false or scam ads.

Sell mine?? Now that it goes forward and reverse within a reasonable amount of time, I think I'll keep her a little longer (unless someone want to trade an airplane, then we're talkin').

I think pre-summer is the best time to sell and buy any motorhome and GMC's are no exception.

The newbies are the most exciting development. Without them, we're the end of the line!

This time of year rv prices are higher this time of year. (All else being equal.) They normally bottom out just as the Christmas bills roll in.

Cycles.

It (the market) was high for quite a while, now it has been low for almost as long.

I am surprised at the number of "newbe" owners where the female has been the "primary" owner. Between that and owners younger than their coaches, it is a good sign. Maybe the GMC is getting it's second (or third) wind of popularity.
