Yup.
I reported the post to the powers that be yesterday.

If I might suggest, a few forum moderators should probably be assigned to remove 'forum spam' in a timely fashion. I am a forum owner as well and it is one of the latest and most obnoxious methods for people to spam. So much so, there's even forums about forums getting spammed.

This is fairly lightweight forum software so I don't know if it had provision to ban right back to the IP level - in any case, garbage posts should be tossed before they damage the quality reputation of the site and as things go out on a mailer, avoid getting black-listed for email spamming as well.

My 2 cents.

I reported that post a couple of days ago and then checked the forum option not to receive any more posts from him/her.

Thanks for the head's up! I didn't know we had the option to Add Ignoramus - that certainly helps stop unwanted posts.

Luckily, this doesn't seem to happen often, but it always amazes me that people seem to enjoy spreading this sort of stuff.

Eugene will get to it. Keep in mind this is a volunteer effort on his part. I also reported it to him.

Yes, he can also block the IP address.
