Has anyone pulled a Pontiac sunfire automatic or Cavalier. Barbara is getting a new car and i was thinking of pulling the sunfire. Right now my plan is to hook up my Cosworth Vega to pull mainly because its light and manual and what do you think of pulling a antique with an antique.

Cool idea Ted. If it were me, I'd put one of those whisker type mud flaps
on the rearmost crossmember to keep debris from chipping the front of the
towed vehicle. I've tried both types of mudflaps and the whisker ones stop
the rocks (and globs of grease) and drop them. Debris seems to bounce off
the solid flaps and make it past the flap.
Just my experience.

From what I remember, the GM FWD 4 speed (and up) automatics are flat towable... the 3 speeds are not... BUT always double check this!

I'd like to tow my 68 Pontiac Catalina. The good thing is, if the
coach breaks down, it could tow the coach! :) (well, subject to some
sort of braking system for the coach that is). My .30" over 455 puts
out more horsepower and torque at low RPMs than the GMC motors. :)
Braking would be the problem.
