I carry a revolver or a pistol at all times and wouldn't hesitate to use
it if necessary.
Keeping a gun in the safe or a trigger lock will only work if you can
convince the
perp to wait while your trembling fingers try to work the combination.

My kids and grandkids have all been trained in responsible gun handling.
My eldest
son owns the Second Amendment Family Gunshop in Bisbee, an area where
your safety
is an issue at all times. We will not be the victims.

Carrying a gun in an RV is another matter. Some states are gun owner
friendly and
others are not. As you cross state lines the rules may change. If you
have a Conceal-
Crry permit, many states have reciprocol agreements but you had better
know who
they are.

You could also purchase Frank Jenkins neat little gun hidey hole where it
can be
available in mere seconds but unlikey to be found by a stranger.

Under no circumstances carry a hand gun into MEX or CAN

13 years as a Police Officer. Took first place in several shooting competitions. Shoot on a regular bases. I would say,,,,no. If you purchase one you need to take a class and shoot on a regularly. Maybe 500 rounds per year for an amature. Kinda like the 10 yo girl at the doctors office,,,,,,she asked the doc,"should I be a doctor"???. His response was no. Mother was stunned and said so. His response was,"if you're going to be a doctor you need to be enthusiatic about it not asking". Hope this helps,,,,,,PL

Saw a sign in the country yesterday at a mini farm entrance. It said
"I do NOT call 911 first."
