His name is Jerry, and he happens to have an Onan on Craig's List right now. It has his phone number in the ad:

He is a regular at the January Quartzsite thing and Dan G. introduced me to him there this year. If you need any other info, Dan probably has it.

Barb,
If you're looking at getting a carburetor for your Onan, you will almost certainly be stuck with a rebuild. I think Jim K lists them on his site. I thought my fuel pump was shot when I first got my coach, but it turned out to be OK. It is just such a low pressure, low volume pump, it just SEEMS like it isn't pumping enough fuel. The Onan uses less than a gallon of gas per hour, even moderately loaded, so It doesn't need a very robust fuel pump. There has been a recent thread about rebuilding the fuel pump on this forum lately. I would try that first. Onan parts can be very expensive.
P.S. There is another generator service in Tucson that seems to have a good stock of parts for old Onans: Simonsen Generator Service, (520) 889-9581. I got a full set of top end gaskets from them two years ago for my 6-K Power Drawer. They will need the serial number and model number.

Jerry built my 6K. Runs well so far. No complaints. He will even install it if you go to his house to pick it up.
