Am at the cracker Barrel at exit 150 on 81. Having a late dinner. We should have all chosen a CB channel to monitor in case we run into another GMCer!

See you all in the a.m.!

Get your ham license and you can use:

144.39 for APRS tracking
146.52 for country wide simplex
147.03+ Bean Station Repeater
443.45+ Bean Station Repeater
Bean Station repeaters are located on the east side top of Clinch mountain and should have a coverage of 50 to 75 miles.

There are only 558 repeaters listed in the state of Tennessee.

Great, Good to see you are rolling Bob. You are hopefully north of the weather, assuming that is 150 exit in Va.
Have a great time.

Ken, turn your tracker on when you leave home.

It is installed and running. All packed except for the cooler, laptop, and WiFi stuff which I will do in the morning. I'm really happy that I did not leave on time and have to drive through all of that stuff today. I have 2 meters and full HF for 40 meters and higher in frequency.

Do you have an ham gear in the Vibe? If you only have 2 meters then I'll monitor the BS 2 or 440 meter repeater. If you have HF I'll monitor 14.250 + - QRM. I'll probably be on 14.250 (20 meters) on the way down there. I assume you will still be in MO tomorrow. If we make contact tomorrow we could also switch to the 17 meter band for less congestion. I do have 40 meters but no antenna for 80 and 160.
