Have Manual/etc.. can't find a diagram of which terminal is which on the control board..
I have a prime switch at the gen I put on years ago..I know one is term5 but cant see which one is term9, I assume where the other wire to the switch is; at left end of board terminals.
Want to jumper it to validate the board is bad.
Pictures/diagrams/etc???

AND if you jump 9 to 6 instead, it will leave the start/stop functions active. (But does disable the board safety features.) While not a good long term solution, it is MUCH more convenient than putting on and taking off jumpers. They are right next to each other so it only takes one female spade connector and about an inch of wire.
Like any-time you by-pass the control board, it is up to you to ensure you are not causing damage...

Mike
You should check an Onan wiring diagram.
Jumping 9 to 6 does NOT totally bypass the board. Jumping either 9 to 11 or 9 to 5 will totally bypass the board. The only difference in those two is that 9 to 5 leaves the fuse in the jumped circuit whereas 9 to 11 bypasses the fuse as well.
Both 9 to 11 and 9 to 5 also leaves the start / stop buttons active.
If one suspects that there is a board problem 9 to 6 will not necessarily work properly.
