Greetings all,
We are planning to remove the dinette in our '73 26' Sequoia and replace it with two bucket seats that match what came in our coach. We have located a couple of pretty decent seats but need to find a couple of the bases to install them on. The swivel plates were still attached so we don't need those... again, just the bases.  If anyone in Illinois, Indiana or northern Missouri has a couple they want out of the garage let us know.
Thanks,
Lyle

Lyle, I am unfamiliar with the sequoia layout, but can you tell me a bit about the dinette mechanism? I have a 76 Royale and would like to reinstall a dinette to sleep two more. The Royale has the propane tank under one of the seats, so I assume the mechanism is not like those in the other models but I thought I would ask. If it turns out that your mechanism would work and you want to sell, please drop me a line!

Lyle,

As I understand it these bases are rare as rocking horse poo.

Anyone that had the slanted bases wanted them when converting to Honda
Odyssey seats.

I would suggest you do a daily search on eBay as that's where I finally
found a set.

The Sequoia (and almost all 73/74 coaches) dinette is wood based with cushions. I do not think it would work for you without modifications. You could just make one to fit over your Royale's propane tank, I have seen pictures of this being done.

I have some assorted seat bases/parts that I want gone -- free too good home.
Prefer local pickup since shipping will be a pain.
If nobody wants them, I'll be recycling them soon. They are: one slant base cut
down by the PO so he could mount a taller seat on it, plus the slanted swivel
that was on it. One reasonably unmolested slant base and swivel. One reasonably
unmolested later type flat base and swivel/slides. One later type flat base missing
the swivel and slides.

Here's a picture.

Karen,

I could use these two. Where are you located?

Karen,

If no one local claims them and you don't mind shipping, I can give you my
FedEx account number.

Thanks,
