Our 1978 Eleganza II is the fourth motorhome we've owned, and by far the
oldest; but experience shows that ALL motorhomes, brand new or vintage, need
constant attention to keep all systems safe and running. So you do it
because you enjoy the pleasures of the open road, the adventures along the
way, the great people you meet, and, in the case of our beloved GMC's, the
satisfaction of preserving and promoting the legacy of a unique and
distinctive bit of RV and motoring history. So forget about ROI in $$. The
ROI comes in much more enduring forms: great memories and pride of ownership
plus the camraderie of like-minded zealots. Priceless!
