If one wanted to flatbed one of these, how big must the towtruck be?
While the GMC is 26 feet long, a good chunk of that is rear overhang;
only the wheels have to actually sit on the flatbed.
Wheelbase on my 68 Pontiac is 121 inches. She's a big girl.
A 26 foot GMC is 160 inches to the "centerline of the rear tandem
pairs", is that the center of the bogie or the actual distance from
front wheels to the rearmost wheels? They're being a bit ambiguous,
because the wheels on the same side are the ones paired in tandem.

iif it is going on flatbed trailer. have to watch ramp angles. bring lots of 2x6's to keep rear end and belly from hitting.

The best way to move a 26 foot coach is on a Landoll trailer. The wheels move forward and allows the rear to lower to the ground.

To tow it on a trailer you need a truck that can tow the combined weight of the motorhome and the trailer.
Roof AC adds about another foot, so don't forget to add that to height of the motorhome from the drawings.
When ready to roll, measure from the ground to the top of the AC and make sure you will clear every overpass along your route.
If you need wheels to get it home, I can loan you the ones on mine to get it on a trailer. Mine are so old that they won't go far on the road, but are holding air and should get the job done for trailering yours. Mapquest says I am 253 miles from Jackson, MS.

The absolute minimum length bed you could get a 26 foot GMC on is 20 feet and that will be tight.
This includes:
1. 4.5 feet from front bumper to the center of the front wheel
2. 15 feet from the center of the front to the center of the rear most wheel.
3. .5 feet additional from the enter of the rear wheel to the rear to allow the rear tire to rest on.
