A non forum user, GMC owner has a spare engine, transmission, and final drive that he bought several years ago for spares. Happily he hasn't needed them and is thinking of selling them. He has no idea what they might be worth, especially in this depressed market. He's a friend of a friend so the following is the best information I can provide right now. These items have been stored inside since acquired.

The (motorhome) transmission and final drive were purchased new in 1980 from a dealer in Ohio who reportedly bought out all the GMC transmissions and final drives from GM. Anyone know anything about this? They are still on the pallet they arrived on.

The 455 Olds (car) engine is a rebuilt 1975. It is essentially a long block, has intake manifold, water pump, valve covers, oil pan (non front wheel drive). The rebuild included a valve job, new cam (can't remember exactly what cam), timing gear/chain, rings, and bearings. It was rebuilt in 1985 by a highly respected builder in this area. The engine rolls over (last weekend). There is also a distributer (unknown if point or HEI) and a Quadrajet (unknown if it is a Motorhome carb) may need re-jetting or a rebuild.
