At Patterson, several people had trouble understanding how the TH425 lifting
eye mounts. I've just uploaded a couple of pictures which illustrates its
use. Also a couple showing a transmission suspended by it -- not quite
level, but pretty close. It's obvious that the attachment of a final drive
would tilt the assembly to (and a little past) level.
