Michael, the isolator is to keep the engine battery (up front, on your
coach) disconnected from the house battery (the two 6 volters by the
generator) except when charging.

Secondly, I do not have a second engine battery up front. I do have two
almost new 6 volt deep cycle batteries by the generator but they do not
seem to be connected to the battery boost switch as nothing happens when
I push it.

Thirdly, as the isolator function, I read, is to separate two engine
batteries for charging purposes, and I don't have a second engine
battery, my A/C guy swapped connections on the isolator to have power on
the third terimal only-in turn powering the dash A/C.
