I recently moved my Palm Beach to Texas (got 10.5 mpg once I got out of the mountains!). I've come back to Washington State to move my household goods and have bought a second A/C unit. One isn't enough for the hot Texas sun. Does anyone know if the rear vent is pre-wired for an A/C unit or do I need to run a wire to the breaker panel? The breaker panel has two half breakers for the existing front unit. Not sure what that means. Has anyone done this? I currently have a Fantastic vent in the rear so the original hole has been enlarged. Will this be an issue? Anything else I need to know? I got a 13.5K btu Duotherm that looks much like the original.
