Gene,
I'm using ,Lever Lock by Micro,Inc.a purely Mechanical Lever Lock, attached
below my right Arm on the Seat Pedestal.
I chose it, because ,it has switched contacts, for a warning Signal ,if
pressure on the Locked Lines goes down.
what line lock are you using?

Gene, "after setting no power is needed", so battery disconnect would be ok and a momentary pushbutton sw would work?
Sure looks easy and clean.

We now have have options to use calipers with manual parking brake for
small and large parking calipers.

Jim,
Does this use the existing cable system to activate the parking brake?
I want to make repairs to my coach with an eye to future upgrades. I've wanted to do the very well built Branscome kit, but if I'm eventually going disks it would be wasted.
I'm slow to move on these things (which serves me well) and I'm now thinking that the line-lock would be the universal answer.
Neither of these solutions is free, so I'm taking my time. And parking on level ground!

Line locks are good for temporary brake using in conjunction with the
Park lever of the trans.
We are capable of holding on a 12-15Degree hill with the rear
mechanical caliper.
We will also have a more expensive unit that will hold at 20 degree.
All these are by using the 2 rear back disc units.
By using the Bransom cable and pulley kit it will perform best.
We can trade in your unit for the other kit anytime.

I find myself always punching the line lock when stopping for a short time. Should we need brake over night Teri throws a block under one of the wheels. Don't want to leave the line lock on for extended periods of time, although that is purely my thinking. Even with everything working my old drum parking brakes would hold nothing.
This brake suits me just fine. I like Gene's idea. Just having the new braking system on the coach is something. I love just scooting up behind folks at stop lights now. Teri gets a bit aggrivated though. I just smile and tell her how nice it is to now have "car braking power" on the GMC. Using the reaction arm system is so nice, even when towing. I feel very fortunate to have this upgrade from Jim. I told Chuck A. that I think about him every time my foot touches the pedal.
