I appreciate those who send me emails thanking me for the pictures. I enjoy doing them, even when the photosite is not as fast as I would like. We are having one of the best times yet. I have only found one grouchy old man here who complains about everything. He undoubtedly has some kind of brain failure due to old age. Very Happy

CRAWDADS! MUDBUGS!

Nobody told me that you were going to have crawfish there! If I had know that I might just have had myself shipped there in a wheelchair!

When I was in charge and I had proposed having Crawdads for a dinner at the GMCMI convention in Rayne, LA the Board of Directors practically lynched me.
Apparently they felt we would have too many yankees there that would complain. So I had to go to a local resturant to get mine.

Emery,

You shoulda told those Yankees they were "mini-lobsters!" ;-)

BTW a few of us went to Susie's Seafood the other night and I noticed nobody
was opening the claws so I tried and found while there wasn't much meat in
them the meat was similar to Maine Lobster claws.

Tonight a group of us went to Wigams #2 for dinner tonight and Roger Black
qualified as the Crawdad eating champion. He went through the four pounds
like a rocket! When I asked why he didn't open the claws he kept munching on
the tails and tossed me a couple of Crawdad's with big claws which were
delicious!

Jeeze Dan,
I see smiles in about 3 photos. Either it's your timing or gas is $10 a
gallon.
TX for the photos though.

And that's just fine with me, Dan. It's about to eat me up but I love to
look at your photos and at least get a peek at everything and everyone I'm
missing.

Keep that camera busy. We're all lovin it and appreciate you taking the
time.

You got really good coverage of the convention activities, Dan. Good Job!

Emery, we had to go to local spots to get our crawfish, but you really
missed some good ones.
