Does anyone know the routing of the hand brakes and where to get the pulleys for it.
Thank you George

George - take a look at the Branscome system. If you need to replace any of the stock cables you will find they are very expensive to replace with stock equivalents. For only a few bucks more you can get the excellent and much improved Branscome system. My GMC came with some "spare" cables so I just ordered the ones I needed. With what I paid for them I should have sold the OEM ones I had on EBay and bought the Branscome system. BTW I have found out that any parts that came with my GMC that I thought were "spares" were just replacement repair parts that had not yet been installed by the PO. The only spare parts that were not needed were the 4 spare airbags (3 NIB).

George,

If you only need to replace a cable or two Jeff Serim has them at a reasonable price. That is what I did. Last month when I did my burnout at the Orlando Speed World, that OEM brake system worked just fine. If you use them they are fine. If you don't the cables rust and bind. .....and if you aren't going to use the system why buy a new one to replace the one you aren't using.

The pulley is a pretty standard item. Mine are marked "01568" fixed eye 1-1/2" pulley 3/1`6 cable 525 pound capacity. You will also need some bolts, nuts, and washers to complete the system.
These were made in Texas, if you are tired of Chinese quality.
I bought mine from a GMC supplier, always trying to support those who support our GMC's.
