I am convinced this is one of the best conventions I have attended yet. The friendlist group and folks helping other folks. Even I am a beneficiary this time. Ken Burton has given up some of his time to help me swap the engine a/c compressor. Hope to finish that in the morning so Teri can stay cool on our ride north. I see more smiles here than I have seen in a while, even with fuel prices continuing to rise as we sit. The food is great. Lots of folks are tearing up the crawdads. You should have seen Roger Black last night. That man can eat those crawfish. We hope those who could not attend enjoy the pictures. I try to sneak a few more up daily. Maybe we will see you at a future convention. Not being able to make it to the conventions means missing some great tech sessions. I recall sitting home looking at the convention pictures dreaming of the days when I could come. Those days have arrived. I try to help those who are less fortunate by sharing as many pictures as I can. If you need a special photo just let me know. I will try to get it for you.

Dan,

The photos of the dinner made us hungry! It also appeared you ate dessert first....
We wish we could be in attendace -- you are certainly kind to share the experience.

The facilities here are very nice. The weather has been very cooperative.
Sunday was the hottest day. Though we've had steady winds they haven't
brought any storms.

The group, as Dan said, is very congenial. Kim has done a bang-up job in
keeping things rolling.

Martha and I were glad so many enjoyed the pancakes made on her recipe. We
also appreciated the Eastern States members who helped with the special
breakfast. We had enough batter for more but did run out of syrup. Martha
told Kim we'd do it again at Goshen. Next time we'll not run out of syrup.

Byron,
That was one of the best tasting pancake I have had in a long time.
Even a rice fed Ornamental has taste buds that can tell and sense of smell.
I could see why so many decided to select the great pancakes.
Thank you both for doing this for us.

It was great to see that some of the people took time to attend the convention for one day and took time visiting with the vendors.
