I am looking for the plastic door trim that goes around the inside of the door opening. Mine is plastic and very brittle.

I am also looking for any advice on keeping hard rain out of my range vent.

My rehab project is moving along nicely - will post pics soon.

Thank you in advance!

You can buy trim at Home Depot or at Lowes that will fit fine. It is used for the edging on the 4x8 wood paneling.

Been there, tried that. They have 1/8" FRP. What we have is 3/16ths. I'm still looking also.

Might want to look at the electronic controlled side kitchen vent that
opens only when the exaust fan is turned on ,we have them in stock.
As far as the plastic inside trim, we are out of stock, but will have
some in couple of weeks.
I'm out of town at the GMC Convention, but call and place an order so
we can ship it to you when it comes in.

Here is a picture of what I used:

It is vinyl edge molding that I bought from McMaster-Carr. It is called
"self-gripping vinyl edge trim with metal core", and comes in all
dimensions. It grips tightly and looks automotive.

Try this link:

http://www.mcmaster.com/#trim-molding/=btzovf but you'll have to select the
page called "Trim" in the little contents section. Or search on the above
description.

Rick "oh, and buy Emery Stora's solenoid powered range hood vent" Denney
