Sorry Guys.
Lighten up Mac, I started out just a quick response to Chuck Boyd on
his comment about bringing the hub Zerk Jig to Bean Station.

Second, I was trying to take some of the heat off of Gary for his comment

Third,, I am not a computer genisus as you can see and I don't plan to be.
I leave the finer details to others.

Last I find out it don't take to long for people to get pissed at me anyway,
so I just live with it. I also have a delete icon on the computer and the
wording is worn off.

And at 70 I find I still make mistakes and can still not to old learn, as
I find out from my kids and grand kids all the time.

Just Don

Don, you are cracking me up, and this is free entertainment. I know you in person, as do most here. Thanks for the smiles. You are a friend to many and I enjoy seeing you out and about, even at 70 years old.
PS, don't reply on this thread, we need a new one. Laughing

Don,
I can relate to you.
My suggestion is to ignore those and know that you have better friends
here that like you for the way you are. I'm 68 and have same problems
with computers.

Great idea Dan. We can add it to the Saguaro Jetset Hymn:

http://www.gmcsj.com/information/gmc-saguaro-jetset-rally-hymn/

Teach it to Steve F. and we'll sing it at rallies (as long as we don't have to pay royalties).

Don, don't sweat the small stuff. I tend to collect a lot of heat here because I seldom follow all the advise given here, but that's due to my situation at home. I'm always looking for cheaper ways of doing things since I'm not as well off as most. Just remember that sometimes the comments are worth what they cost you & blow them off. If all else fails, get a T-shirt made like I did when I named the coach. In my case, it's not a name, it's an attitude & I've earned mine fair & square. Besides, I'm an East Texan & we tend to run to the stubborn, independent side of things, anyway. I was raised to believe it's what you do that counts, not what you say. Do what you think is right according to your situation, take advise when it's relevant & constructive, and thumb your nose at the flamers. If I need advise on the coach, the 2 Jims have always had time to talk me thru it & since they've been there & done that, I listen. Companies like theirs are rare &
should be supported. When I can, I buy from them, but I only have so much to go around & they understand that.
Fix the coach the way you want it to be. It's your money you're spending, so in the long run yours is the opinion that matters (and your wife's, if you're married...).

Darn, Gene! I'm sure glad you posted that! Now I know there's still
someone around who's been plagued with microprocessors as long as I have!

I was enrolled in CS101 at Sacramento State University when the professor
skipped class one day. He came back the next day ranting and raving and
trying to get each of us to cough up $500 to buy ourselves and INTEGRATED
CIRCUIT CPU!!! He'd been to San Jose for the introduction of the MCS-4 (the
Intel 4004, immediate predecessor of the 8008 and eventually 8080, Z-80,
286, 386, Pentium, etc., etc., etc., and the whole microcomputer world).

I didn't cough up the $500 (I did shortly after spend $414.75 for a HP-35
calculator though), but it was only a year or so before I built my first
microcomputer -- it would actually play "Hangman"!

That experience has been sort of like the GMC: A cult I can't seem to get
out of! I'm glad to find I'm not the only one.
