The difference between guys like Clasco, Golby, Explorer Van, etc is
Upfitters bought Transmodes from the factory and converted them to motor
homes, ambulances, shuttle buses, etc which usually were sold thru the GM
dealer network. The aforementioned Clasco and Golby refurbished owner
coaches. Explorer Van bought GMC motorhomes and refurb'd them as GMC IIs
mostly sold thru Buddy Bethune in NC. Maybe later I'll list the upfitters
I know of. There are quite a few.

JimBo can add the career details (I 1st met him when he was with Tony
Bell at Clasco)
