Albert,
I plan on going to Patterson.
I have a 1978 OEM Master cylinder I replaced with one from Jim Bounds .
The new one put out over 1500 PSI dead headed into a Gauge.
The Gauge I was using ,Max rang was 1500 PSI and it pegged ,the Meter.

Hey Craig ,
Thanks for the offer to do the measurements, I think it best to buy the
1978 one from somewhere and measure it . Looks like my OEM MC has 1-1/4"
pistons which I have long suspected due to only getting just over 800 PSI on
a pressure test about 3 years ago. I'll just hold for now and pick up one
on the way home from Patterson.
