Does a 1976 Birchaven have separate holding tanks for Grey water and Black water like the Royales have?

My 1976 Birchaven was finished out by Coachmen.

It does have two tanks. One for "black" water and one for "grey" water. The "black" water tank is the rearmost tank on the setup I have on my coach.

Yes, it has 2 separate tanks.
Miguel at MGM and I have come up about a year ago with a GMC4 tank to
replace the black tank with one that does not drag on the ground when
negotiating a curb.
One can view it and we can show you how to use it effectively.

My side bath has the black tank forward and the grey tank in the
rear. Guess the commode determines the placement of the tanks.

My GMC has a rear bath, so you are correct as to tank placement over the commode.
