Dang it, don't blame me. As I read down each thread I keep running into lines that say "blame Dan Gregg". What is that all about? That Burton is going to get a knot on his head when we get to Patterson. Here I do the guy a favor and stay up into the wee hours of each moring riding along and talking with him on the phone. Then, he gets home where all is hunky dory and he blames me because he had a family reunion with his cousin on the side of I-70. Whutz up with that?
Anyway, we have just over a week left til the Patterson Convention. If you are still not coming because of high fuel prices just remember that some day you will wish you had come on down. Make it a month long trip, if you are retired. That way you get much more for your money that is going up in smoke at the pump. I promise you will enjoy the convention. I am in charge of ice cream. Come on and I will make sure you have an extra bowl, on me. There are very few places that GMC folks have as much fun as we have at the conventions. Sure, I will post pictures, but that just is not like being there. Some of these old codgers really take this Pinewood Derby thing seriously. I don't race because I enjoy watching these people get mad when they lose. We will have some of the new led lights there for you to look at while you are browsing Jim K's table. I even have two real nice ac lights that your wife can leave on all night if she wants. I don't sell them but can point you to the website. I do sell the 12 volt lights and will have lots of them there. This is the area where they film the ever popular tv series "Swamp People". I am sure we will see a few gators. Keep your Ragusa step folded up or you might be sleeping with one.
So, if you miss out on this one, please do not blame me. When you do get there and see Teri, tell her what a nice guy she is married to. I need help some days.
Life is so good at GMC conventions.
